I am a full-time medical transcriptionist and my love of writing has evolved from writing the words of others to writing my own words. I am also a qualified beauty therapist, though have not been doing this actively for a number of years, but this has extended to an interest in cosmetics and the development of a range of aromatherapy blends called Mayo Plant Preparations. I am in the process of developing a website for these.

As far as the little time I have for interests go, I like to paint in oils and hope to do a few blogs on this in the near future. I also do a bit of gardening and try to be self-sufficient with growing vegetables, fruit, etc. It is great to pluck fresh veges from the garden or just enough lettuce to make a nice salad. I also like crafts such as sewing, leatherwork and decoupage to name a few.
